Funeral services for Kenneth Little Dog, 74, of Wakpala will be at 11 AM, Friday, December 20, 2024, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Kenneth passed Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

Kenneth Little Dog was born on January 1, 1950, to Christine Looking Back – Howard and Dale Little Dog in Fort Yates ND.

Kenneth graduated in 1968 from Wakpala High School. Soon after he moved to Oakland Ca where he attended Welding School, he made welding his profession and worked for many companies. FMC, San Jose Ca, El Paso Natural Gas, BHP, San Juan Mine and LaPlatta Mine. Kenny had a love for his profession and was very skilled at his profession. In 2020 he moved to Bismarck ND and worked for Bobcat of Bismarck where he then retired for the 2nd time. He lived in Bismarck with his son Silas until his passing. Kenny loved to go on trips to see family and enjoy the good times. He loved Basketball and Bike Riding. Kenny was always willing to sit and have good conversations and enjoying hearing stories and laughing.

During this time, he met his first wife and to that union he had 3 children: his son, Kenny Jr, and 2 daughters, Kandice and Kris.

In August 2003, he married Brenda and to this union he had 2 children, his son, Silas and daughter, Dayna

Kenny is survived by his wife, Brenda and his children, Silas and Dayna and Kandice (Allen) Hastings and Kris (Jason) Malinky, 5 grandchildren, Jocelyn Little Dog, Sgt. Khadeighjah Little Dog, Arik Hastings, Kaiman Hastings, and Mikala Malinky, 1 great granddaughter, Kamari, brothers, Wayne (Grace) Looking Back, George Howard, Jerome Jr Howard, sisters, Iris (Ben) Looking Back, Marveen Howard, Bette Mashek and Kathy Howard, cousins, Chuck Cadotte, Gloria Cadotte and Jim Cadotte.

Kenny is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Looking Back-Howard, father, Dale Little Dog, son, Kenny Jr, grandson, Kheyanev, great grandson, Kameron, and son-in-law, Jason Malinky.
