Graveside service for Keetan Diserly age 32 of, Aberdeen, will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Left Hand Family Cemetery Kenel under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home Mobridge, SD. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to Noon of Saturday, at Kesling Funeral Home. Keetan passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, SD. Keetan favorite color was red so everyone please wear red. A meal will be served at the cemetery after the services.
Keeton John "Kicking Horse" Diserly entered the spirit world December 19th 2020. He was a blessing born into this world in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 7th 1988. Keeton grew up in Bismarck North Dakota. He attended schools from Saxvik Elementary school to Simle Middle School and Bismarck High School. He also attended boarding schools, Flandeau Indian School (South Dakota), Chemawa Indian School (Oregon)and Riverside Indian Schools (Oklahoma).
Keeton enjoyed all types of sports such as basketball, football, track, baseball, skateboarding, mini golf, co-ed volleyball, frisbee golf, softball, wrestling, and many other athletic sports. He also grew up participating and attending powwows all over the United States. He was a very talented fancy feather dancer throughout his youth and teenage life. Keeton's favorite memories in life were when his family and daughters were together enjoying each other's company. Keeton was always there to help family in any situation and was a very genuine friend to everyone he befriended. Keeton enjoyed fishing, gambling, teaching our youth to be productive in various ways, dancing, camping, grilling, feeding the ducks and traveling various places meeting as many people as possible. Keeton loved his kids with heart and they were everything that mattered in his life. He proudly worked at B&H Construction his co-workers became his family away from home and made a positive impact on Keeton's life he mentioned to his family often.
Keeton was always grateful to those who helped him and we're there for him in any way. Keeton made a positive impact on many people by influencing them to stay clean and sober and guiding them in any of their struggles. Keeton was an amazing Father, Brother Uncle, Cousin Nephew, Grandson, and Special Friend to so many he crossed paths with. He enjoyed working on cars, drawing, listening to music and helping with any kind of maintenance issues for anyone in need. Keeton lived his life for his children and always did the best he could for them. He lived his life in humbleness and always had a positive attitude. Keeton favorite memories in life were when his family and children were together enjoying each other's company.
Preceded in death by his parents, Micki and Haryl Diserly Grandparents, Dick Weinriess, Leonard Old Rock, Irene Brown, Sister, Morning Star Old Rock.
Survived by his siblings, Kawliga, Kayan, Kehala and Anna Diserly. Snow, Memory, Pretty Dear and Winter Hawk Old Rock. His children, Nevaeh and Haven Diserly, and Son, Trent Perry. God mother, Wanita Morsette.
Keeton always gave his siblings the best advice, love, respect, and was loyal to them no matter what, he was a protector, a healer, and a wise man in all his actions, he will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
