She was born and raised on her grandparents ranch in Cannonball, North Dakota. She went to school in Solen from headstart to her senior year. Sister also attended Sitting Bull College for a little while.
Katey lived her life one step at a time, she never took anything for granted, every time you saw Katey she had a smile on her face. One thing nobody could take away from Katey was her kindness for other people. Sister was always there to watch out for her younger siblings, and cheer them on playing basketball to volleyball she always sat there and cheered them on know matter what. Katey was a second mom to her siblings, they will miss her so much.
Katey loved the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Vikings and she loved kids. She was a paraprofessional at the Cannonball Elementary School. Katey's adopted baby Jayleen was her little pride and joy, wherever you seen Katey, Jayleen was with her all the time. Sister loved playing volleyball in the front yard and hitting softballs with her little sister. She loved going to Bismarck to eat out, but didn't like to drive at night, but every time you were with her, you had the best time being with her. She loved getting her nails done even though they were like a million dollars, lol.
