A Mass of Christian Burial for Katie Schlosser, 90 of Timber Lake, SD will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Timber Lake with Father Brian Lane, officiating. Inurnment will be at the Timber Lake Cemetery. Katie died on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Katie Schlosser was born on July 13, 1933 in Glencross, South Dakota. She was born to Fred and Eva Klein. Katie passed away peacefully at St. Vincent's Nursing Home in Bismarck, North Dakota after a battle with dementia.

Katie always planted a large garden, loved to cook and make noodles. She also did a lot of quilting and helped many elderly.

Katie married Anton 'Tony' Schlosser in Timber Lake on April 16, 1953. Together they had three daughters.

After Tony's death in 1985, Katie continued with her love of camping and fishing, dancing to polkas, quilting, and going to auctions. Her love of auctions grew to a large collection of all things big and small. She stored this huge collection wherever there a vacant spot.

Katie is survived by her daughter, Margaret Holloman.  Katie is preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, her parents, brothers and sisters.
