Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial for Kathy Cudmore, age 58, of Timber Lake will be at 10 AM, MT Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Timber Lake. Rosary services will be Friday at 7:30 PM, MT at the church. Burial will be in the Timber Lake Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Kathy passed away December 14, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center in Selby.
Kathy Marie Cudmore, 58, Timber Lake, SD, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Home in Selby, SD under the care of hospice with family by her side.
Kathy was born on May 21, 1953, in Isabel, SD to Warren and Lucy Linderman. She graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1971.
On July 10, 1971 she married Glen Cudmore in Timber Lake, SD. In 1972, their daughter Shawn was born to their union.
She started working in the cafe industry, Lucky 7 Bar and Grill at the age of 14. She worked there for many years along side of her parents and the Lawrence family. Kathy then provided daycare to many children in the Timber Lake area. She also provided janitorial services for the Tumbleweed Motel and the Dewey County Courthouse. Kathy loved gardening, canning, reading and watching her soap operas.
Kathy fought a life time disease and towards the end of her life, lung cancer. Kathy's time on earth ran out and she met eternity at peace with God, and fully confident in the mercies of Jesus. She promised to watch over us until we meet again, and we know she will keep that promise.
She is survived by her husband Glen (Cuddy), Timber Lake, SD; daughter Shawn (Brent) Kremer, Jamestown, ND and grandson Logan; her father, Warren and Marge of Westport, WA; brothers and sisters Bob (Doris) Linderman, Gillette, WY; Donna (Stan) Schlosser, Timber Lake, SD; John (Patty) Linderman, Timber Lake, SD; Barbie (Kelly) Serr, Bison, SD, and many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy; father-in-law, Grover and mother-in-law, Ginny; infant grandchild, her grandparents, and several uncles and aunts.
