Justin Whitebull, 55, of Mobridge passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 am at Kesling Funeral Home, Mobridge. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 12 PM- 2 PM at the funeral home.

Justin J. "Poss" White Bull was born on October 1, 1968 in Fort Yates, ND to Jake White Bull, Jr. and Mildred Mound. He attended Mobridge Schools eventually obtaining his GED at Box Elder Job Corp. From there he moved to Denver, CO where he lived most of his life before returning to South Dakota due to his health.

Justin was an exceptional artist, specializing in portraits. He worked various jobs throughout his life. He also played guitar and drums. Justin was a baptized and confirmed member of the Episcopal faith and was a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.

Justin will be dearly missed by his siblings, Marva Two Hearts, Ann White Bull, Carlene Cloke, all of Mobridge; his daughter, Kylie and granddaughter, Arabella both of Denver, CO, Rita Bird and family, Toni Hanley and family, Cheyenne Sitting Dog and family and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Millie Mound, father, Jake White Bull Jr., brothers, Melvin, Anthony and Jake White Bull and sister, Sandy Catudio.
