Funeral services for Julian Spotted Horse, age 18 of McLaughlin will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 29, 2015 at Blue Gym in McLaughlin. Burial will be in the Elkhorn Episcopal Cemetery in Little Eagle under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. All night wake will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 beginning at 4PM. Julian passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Julian Keenan Blaine Spotted Horse was born July 11, 1996, to Yvette Cameron and Kenneth Spotted Horse in Bismarck, ND. Julian grew up in McLaughlin, SD where he was helped raised by his special grandparents Rene Sr. and Martha Cameron.

Julian attended/graduated from the Bear Soldier Head Start and went on to attend grades k-12 at the McLaughlin School. He would have graduated this May 2015.

Julian loved, cared and always worried about his brother, sister and mother very much. He played basketball, football, was a boxer and enjoyed family gatherings. Birthday parties, cook- outs, bonfires and all other occasions just for the family to get together is what he especially liked. Julian worked at the Moser's Main Street Market in McLaughlin and was currently working construction in ND. He participated in numerous activities with the BGCGRA and was currently a well involved mentor there to Adam "Sarge" Eagleshield. In his spare time he volunteered at the McLaughlin Youth Theatre.

Julian is survived by his parents, Yvette Cameron and Kenneth Spotted Horse of McLaughlin; his brothers, Torey Cameron, Zaken Spotted Horse, Kendric Spotted Horse, Kole Spotted Horse all of McLaughlin, and Keenan Hollow of Fort Yates, ND; his sister, Tamira Cameron of McLaughlin; his grandmothers, Martha Cameron of McLaughlin, and Debra Giroux of Aberdeen, SD; his aunts, Shannon (William Sr.) Brownotter, Jerrica (Shannon Sr.) Crow Ghost, Jasmine Cameron, Dawn Spotted Horse, Agnes Giroux and family, Lenore Spotted Horse and family, Robin Farrell and family, and Bernie Spotted Horse and family; his uncles, Sinjin (Sami M.) Cameron, and Katlin Tiger; and his cousins, Desmond, Desiree Angelique, Tyreese, Destiny and Rene III Cameron, Katrina Leaf, Tariq and William Jr. Brownotter, Trinity, Kamron and Mj Antelope, Phoenix Crow Ghost, Trevon, Kenna and Kayden Bagola, Carliyah Thompson, and Karsin Cameron.

He was preceded in Death by his brother, Jared Wise Spirit; his grandfathers, Rene Cameron Sr., and Blaine Spotted Horse; and his uncles, Rene Cameron Jr. and Carl Cameron.
