Judy Block passed away June 6, 2020 at the age of 81 due to cancer. Judy was born January 14, 1939 to Fred and Rose (Hepper) Jundt Jr. in McLaughlin, SD. After graduating from McLaughlin High School, she attended Bismarck Community College in Bismarck, ND, graduating with a degree in Secretarial.

She married Ernest (Smokey) Block Jr. on October 26, 1958 and they had 3 children, Gary L Block, Pamela Jo (Kevin) Mattern, and Wendy R (Wilbert) White Bull. Ernest worked on construction and the family traveled during the summers, making a travel trailer their home. When Smokey became an independent truck owner/operator, they continued to travel with him as much as possible until his death in 1981 of cancer. Judy loved animals, and always had a few dogs and cats, and sometimes rabbits, gerbils and even an albino robin. Judy was like a mother to many of her daughters' friends. She liked rock music, crossword puzzles, and rootbeer floats.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law and 7 grandchildren, Jordan White Bull, Loudyn White Bull, Amanda and Cassandra Mattern, Raegan White Bull, Levyn White Bull, Saran White Bull and 3 great-grandchildren, Temptence Giegel, Sandra White Mountain, and Lucian White Mountain.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Jundt; father, Frederick Jundt Jr., brother Greg Jundt, sister Cynthia Jundt, husband, Ernest Block Jr., and son Gary Block.
