Joylin Fischer, age 69, of Mobridge passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital in Mobridge after a long battle with MS. A private family service will be held. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.
Joylin Ann Fischer was born on January 20, 1942 in Lowry, SD to William and Mary (Schnaible) Roesler. As a small child her family moved into Selby where she attended school. She married Ronald Fischer on May 10, 1961 in Selby. They made their home in Mobridge where Joylin worked at Citizen's Bank from 1963 until her retirement in 1995. Joylin enjoyed many crafts including beading jewelry and cross stitching. She also enjoyed playing solitaire and reading.
Joylin is survived by her husband, Ronald Fischer of Mobridge, son, Michael (Lorena) Fischer of Houston, TX; daughters, Robin (Larry) Hanson of Aberdeen and Daria Fischer of Rapid City; grandchildren Wences and Samantha Fischer of Houston and Chris and Matthew Hanson of Aberdeen; brother, Alvin Roesler of Fridley, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Oscar Roesler, and sister, Lorraine Miles.
All in attendance are considered honorary bearers.
