Funeral services for Joseph Bone Club, 81, of Wakpala will be at 11 AM, CT, Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Wakpala. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Monday at 5PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Joseph passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Joseph Bone Club was born on April 4, 1935, five miles southwest of Wakpala to Harry and Annie (No Heart) Bone Club. He was raised on the family place and attended school in Wakpala. He put Wakpala on the map by taking first place in Mobridge for running the mile. Following graduation from Wakpala High School he entered into the US Air Force. He married Delphine Takes The Gun. To this union Carol, Margaret, and Jeff were born. He had a relationship with Mary Howard and to this relationship came Benadock, Monica, Brenda Bone Club. Soon after he moved to Washington where he lived for 21 years. While there he met and married Jan and later met a special friend Pam whom he spent the remainder of his life with.



Joseph had a friendly sense of humor and got along good with everyone. He was always visiting family and loved their company. He took everyone he met as a friend.



Joseph is survived by sister, Rebecca Left Hand, his children, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins and relatives.



He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Rena Laframboise, Minerva Four Bear, Roselyn Sam, and Christopher Blackbird, numerous cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents.
