Funeral services for John Foster Jr., 50, of Mobridge will be at 1 PM, Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Burial will be in St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Family and friends will leave Kesling Funeral Home at 5 PM to process to the blue gym for wake services at 7 PM Thursday John passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

John Foster, Jr. was born November 9,1972 to the late John Fosters, Sr and Sybil (Little Dog) Foster. John attended grade school at Little Eagle Day School. He then graduated from McLaughlin High School in 1991.

John loved to be a mechanic. He also loved the game of basketball. He traveled to many places playing Independent Basketball. John also loved to play Co-Ed volleyball, he also played softball. John was also a coach for grade-school girls' basketball, traveling to many places. He spent many hours teaching these young ladies a thing or two on the court. John was also a Champion Horseshoe player; he enjoyed playing the game very much. He enjoyed visiting his friends and relatives, he was always teasing someone.

John is survived by his beloved children; Jayda Bad Horse, Johnson and Sebastian Foster of Mobridge, his baby whom he had a hand in raising since she was a week old and loved very much; Avery Alan Jamerson. John Charles Wayne Foster of McLaughlin, Geraldine and Stephan Yellow Earrings of Little Eagle, Jonathan Thompson of Watertown, SD, Gorgianna Hepperly of Bismarck, ND.  His sisters; Kary Foster & Family of McLaughlin, Renee Foster & family of Bismarck, a very special Aunt who he called mom; Elizabeth Little Dog & Family and Jackie Little Dog, all of McLaughlin.

John was preceded in death by his parents; John and Sybil (Little Dog) Foster Sr., Uncle; Norman Little Dog, Grandparents; Delma Little Dog, Harry and Julia (Bad Horse) Foster, Aunts; Kathy Roberts, Lavern Chasing Hawk, Bernadine Little Dog, Rachel Foster and Stella Uses Arrow.
