Mass of Christian Burial for John G. Bosch, age 81, of Mobridge will be 10:30 AM Monday, September 17, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobridge. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-5 at the funeral home with prayer service at 7 at the church. John passed away September 12, 2012 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

John G. Bosch was born September 28, 1930 to George and Martha (Hagel) Bosch in Emmons County, ND. He attended school up until the 8th grade and later went on to trade school in Fargo, ND. He joined the Marine Corps in November of 1951 and was honorably discharged November of 1953 he was a PFC in the Korean War.

John married Luella Masset on November 14, 1955 at the St. Bernhard Catholic Church in Emmons County. He made his career owning a service station in Mobridge, SD and a radiator repair business for 45 years. John was a member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were his pride and joy. John enjoyed baseball, fishing, hunting, baking cookies, and gardening.

John is survived by his wife Luella, two sons Mike (Joni) Bosch of Iowa City, IA and Jeff (LuAnne) Bosch of Mobridge, SD, one daughter Sharon (Matt) Wirth of Coralville, IA, grandchildren Jared Bosch, Cassie (Chris) Ahern, Kristen (Jeremy) Reynolds, Nikki (Eric) Keller, Jenny (Jon) Beitelspacher, Kristi (Kurt) Rahlf, 8 great-grandchildren, and one sister Helen Stoppler.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Martha Bosch, two brothers Wendelin and Jacob Bosch, and two sisters Rose Bernhart and Barbara Bosch.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Building Fund.
