Funeral services for Jennifer Rose Four, 48 or Porcupine, ND will be held at St. James Catholic Church, Porcupine, on Monday, Aug. 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM. A family procession will meet Monday at 11:00 AM at the Selfridge Junction. Interment under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home will be held at the church cemetery. Jennifer died on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026 at Sanford Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.

Jennifer "Jenny" was born to Eugene Four, Jr. and Bernadine Iron Shield on July 3, 1978. She grew up in Ft. Yates, MD where she attended Headstart and grade school. She attended Flandreau Indian School for high school. Jenny was never a sit at home kind of girl. She loved to run around with all of her friends. In her 20's she ended up in Fargo and met a man from Ft. Totten where Jenny ended up having her son, Hoksila.Later she moved back to the Ft. Yates/Selfridge area. This is where she remained and made her home until she got sick.

Jenny held various jobs at PKC. She enjoyed helping anyone and everyone out that needed it or would ask. She took care of all her "baby" brothers and sister. Jenny loved to visit and laugh with everyone. She always had a smile on her face. She will be dearly missed.

Jenny is survived by her father, Eugene Four, Jr; son, Hoksila Feather; sister, Yuray (Wayne); brothers, Eugene III (Mary Ellen), Merle (Tasha) and Jeffrey (Nisha); numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Merle Four, Eugene Four III, Terrell Holy Elk Face, Thomas Holy Elk Face, Austin Iron Shield and Robert Carry Moccasin.
