Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Marshall, 51, of Rapid City and formerly of Kenel will be10:00 AM CT Friday November 3, 2017 at the Catholic Church Of Assumption Church in Kenel. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. A Rosary service will begin at 6:00 PM Thursday November 2, 2017 at Church. Jean passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Jean Ann Marshall was born March 18, 1966 at Fort Yates, ND. She graduated from Standing Rock Community High School Class of 1987. She relocated to Rapid City, SD in 1988 to Black Hills Workshop to learn numerous trades such as, Housing Keeping, Industrial Work and her last work site at The School of Mines as a Cafeteria Server. Jean was well known in her early years in high school with her big smile and greeted everyone with a cheerful "hi" every day. She always made sure she never missed the bus, no matter what. She was very venturous and loved to travel to such exotic places as "Hawaii" and Walt Disney World with her boyfriend Jesse. She always enjoyed visits from her family and friends while in Rapid City, especially her "I'na" and her special granddaughter "Addy". Her favorite places were Golden Corral, Armadillos Ice Cream Shop, Main Street Square and Hardees. She loved word search puzzles, picture puzzles and enjoyed listening to music. When she did come back home she enjoyed visiting everyone making her rounds catching up on the latest. She loved to make you laugh and surprise you when she saw you in the Rushmore Mall or other places. Jean will be greatly missed by everyone who crossed paths with her.
She is survived by brothers and sisters, Warren "Theodore" Marshall, Jolene Cadotte (Tyrone), Maureen Marshall (Troy), Frank White Bull (Allene), Janet White Bull (Raymond), Randy "Goose" White Bull, Brenda White Bull, Kim White Bull, Suzanne White Bull (Dustin), Suzanne Keana, Chuck Jacobs, Brady Brown Otter, Aunt Patty Kelly, Godchild Jeni Star, 35 nieces and nephews (Toskas and Tojans), 33 Grandchildren (Takojas) and Special Friend Jesse Bosanko.
She was preceded on her journey to the spirit world by her parents Theodore Marshall Sr., Albert and Maxine White Bull, brother AJ White Bull, nephew Baby Frank White Bull, granddaughter Journey, Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties and Cousins.
