Memorial services for James Mendenhall age 54 of Mobridge will be 2:00 PM Saturday June 1, 2013 at Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. James passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge.

James "Jim" Mendenhall was born January 9, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Leo and Eva Mendenhall. Jim was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1980-1988 aboard the USS Ranger. During his life Jim traveled, lived and worked in many places. He had varied interests and enjoyed fulfilling the ones he could. Woodworking was the greatest of his interests and we are pleased that there are many of these examples around town and with his family, especially at his home and mother-in-laws house. Those of us who loved him most are comforted to have these precious mementos to remember him by.

Jim is survived by his wife Lynn, two sons Chris (Becky) Mendenhall, Will (Hannah) Johnson, two daughters Misty (John) Hill and Sheena (Daniel) Rose, his mother-in-law Darlene Liebelt, 7 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephew.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
