Memorial Mass for James Clausen, age 56, of Mobridge will be 1:30 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. James passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, with his little brother Joe by his side. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.
James Clausen ( Jimbo) was born July 9, 1956 in Mobridge SD to Donald and Alice (Fischer) Clausen. He attended school in Mobridge.
Jimbo had numerous joys in his life, besides family he was an avid bowler and would never pass up a chance to bowl a line or two. Jim liked to play ping pong and thought he was the ping pong champion. He will always be a champion in our eyes! Jim loved to ride motorcycle, swim in the Missouri River or anyplace else he could find water to be in. Jimbo loved music and movies, there was always a good movie to watch with him or music to listen to.
Our Jimbo was loved by so many people. He always had something funny to say, was always optimistic, never had a bad word for anyone and Everyone was his friend.
James was preceded in death by his father Donald and brother Allen along with his grandparents and numerous Aunts and Uncles.
James will be missed and remembered by his Mother Alice, sister Dianna Javers, Mobridge SD, Brother Joe (Wanda) Billings MT, his very special nieces Allison Clausen, Bismarck ND, Monica Hinsley, Mobridge SD and Kira Clausen, Jamestown ND and great nephews Jayden and Carson Hinsley, along with numerous friends and family.
