Funeral services for Jaimie Bruguier age 29 of McLaughlin will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Interment will be in the Good Shepherd Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Sunday, September 9, 2018 beginning at 6:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Jaimie passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at IHS in Eagle Butte.

Jaimie Rose Bruguier was born on December 4, 1988 at Ft. Yates hospital to Eunice Bruguier-Archambault and Joseph Porras Sr. She made her home in McLaughlin, SD. Jaimie attended Bear Soldier head start and McLaughlin School. She loved playing volleyball in middle school and high school She played basketball in middle school.

Jaimie also was a jingle dress dancer and was Jr. Miss Bear Soldier. She made a lot of friends when she was royalty for the Bear Soldier District.

She never had children of her own but loved and cared for her nieces and nephews no matter how old they were. She always wanted the best for all her relatives. If you were doing wrong she let you know. Jaimie traveled and lived in numerous places. She lived in Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Pipestone, MN. As of lately she was going back and forth from McLaughlin and Eagle Butte.

She loved playing Play Station and other games. She was always willing to help when asked. She cared a lot for her family and friends. Her favorite place to take her nieces and nephews was the river to swim and have a cookout. Her laughter and pranks will be missed.

Jaimie is survived by her, Father; Joseph Porras Sr. and Mother; Eunice Bruguier-Archambault, Brothers, Killian Archambault, Jacob Archambault, Samuel Archambault, Sisters, Joelle Porras, Amanda Archambault, Kendria Yellow Earrings, Mary Anne and Fern Has Horns, Audrey Bluestone, Velma Takes The Gun, Cindy Claymore, Margaret Bone Club, Carol Bone Club, Linda Bruguier, Marilyn Yellow Earrings, Emily Yellow Earrings, Adie Yellow Earrings, Sidney and Beverly Eagle Shield, Jeff Bone Club, Daniel Has Horns, Johanna Ducheneaux, Godson; Amiel Spotted Horse Jr.
