Funeral services for Irene M. Schuh age 82 of Mobridge will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Mobridge. Interment will be in the Hillview Cemetery in Isabel under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 at 5:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, at the church. Irene passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Irene Moser was born September 1, 1934, north of McIntosh in rural Sioux County, North Dakota to Henry and Martha (Quenzer) Moser. She grew up on the family farm and attended and graduated from McIntosh High School in 1952.

Irene married Ervin Schuh on September 20, 1959 at McIntosh. Following their marriage, they made their home on the farm south of McIntosh where they ranched, farmed and raised their family.
Irene worked for the ASCS office for 13 ½ years, in McIntosh where she received the Clerk of the Year award. Irene enjoyed baking making wedding cakes, making sure that there were meals provided for people in need.

Irene was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in McIntosh, also the church pianist for a number of years. Treasure for the Ladies Aide, Sunday School Superintendent, Secretary for the Liberty Belles Ext. Club and President for the County Ext.

Irene is survived by her daughters; DeVonne Schuh of Mobridge, SD, Melinda (Kelley) Abbitt Oldsmar, of FL one granddaughter; Lauren Abbitt, one brother and sister-in-law; Bernard (Sharon) Moser of McIntosh, SD.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband; Ervin, one son; Harlan Dale, parents; brother; Henry and sister – in-law Teresa Moser, brother-in-law; Carlton Fuller.
