Funeral services for Harold Labrensz, 89 of Mobridge, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Friday, February 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kesling Funeral Home. Harold passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Lutheran Home in New Rockford, ND.

Harold Labrensz was born June 19, 1929 in rural Sioux County, ND to Gottfried and Emilia (Wolf) Labrensz. He attended White Bird School and graduated from McLaughlin High School in 1950. He married his high school sweetheart, Ramona Stugelmeyer on September 17, 1950. To this union two children were born, Jeffrey and Michael.

They lived on the ranch until 1995 when they moved to Mobridge and continued to farm and ranch till 2001.

Harold enjoyed square dancing, fishing, gardening, playing pinochle, and wood working. He helped janitor at Trinity Lutheran Church, was a Sioux County Commissioner in the 1970's, sang in the choir and was on church council at Trinity Lutheran Church and Redeemer Lutheran Church, and served on the Cedar Soil Conservation District.

Harold is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ramona, son, Jeffrey (Denise) of Sheynne, ND, grandson, Joshua (Brittany) Labrensz of Philadelphia, PA, granddaughter, Allison (Matt) Pfeiffer of New Rockford, ND, great grandson, Jase Aaron Pfeiffer, sister-in-law, Lenora Labrensz and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael in 2000, and grandson, Aaron Labrensz in 2012, siblings, Hilma Cline, Leonhard Lebrensz, and Irene Clayton.
