Funeral services for Grace Schott, age 87, of Mobridge will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2012 at Kesling Funeral Chapel in Mobridge. Burial will be at the Mobridge City Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Visitation will start Monday 10 AM until time of service. Grace passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Grace C. Schott was born June 18, 1925 to John M. Johnson and Minnie (Beyerle) Johnson in Mobridge, SD. She married Theophyl Schott and to this union they had five children.

She enjoyed gardening and canning. Grace always prepared a large garden in Glenham, raising various vegetables, flowers, and trees. She also enjoyed playing cards, being with friends and family, going on family outings, and her trips to England and New Mexico. Grace loved being with her grandchildren.

Grace is survived by her children Lynn M. (Valerie P.) Schott, Norna C. Schott, Glenn T. Schott, Luke D. Schott, Rebecca C. (William M. Plush) Schott all of Mobridge, SD, grandchildren Heather L., Megan M., and Michael E, and two sisters Florence Long and Gladys Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Theophyl Schott, brothers Minroy Johnson, Martin Johnson, George Johnson, Frank Johnson and her sister Lucille Thompson.
