Funeral services for Grace Kills In Water, 5, of Little Eagle will be at 11AM, CT, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Burial will be at Good Shepherd Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Family and friends meet at the funeral home at 5PM to proceed to an all-night wake at the gym at 7PM Wednesday. Grace passed away, October 12 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Grace Bernadine Kills In Water was born on March 24, 2011 in Bismarck, ND, to Franklin Kills In Water and Desarae Makes Him First. She grew up in Little Eagle and attended Head Start. Grace also attended school in McLaughlin and was in Kindergarten in Wakpala. She really enjoyed going to school and reading books. Grace was very active outside, riding bike and horses, jumping on the trampoline and fishing with family. Elsa from Frozen was Grace's favorite but she had quite a few Barbies and loved playing with her Barbie house. She like spending time with her brothers and sisters and her three favorite aunties, Marisa, Brianna and Arianna. Grace was very much loved by her family.


Grace is survived by her father, Franklin Kills In Water, mother, Desarae Makes Him First, brothers and sisters, Josephine, Myron, Laila, Malyha, Katleya, Franklin Jr., and Traivon, grandparents, Bruce and Mary Kills In Water, Lisa Makes Him First and Jubal Mellette, great grandparents, Frank and Geraldine Jamerson, and Marles Madison and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


She is preceded in death by great great grandparents, Magdeline Kills Crow, Josephine Madison, Bernard and Doreen Kills In Water, Grace and Theron Jamerson, Charlene Bush, Jesse & Pete No Neck, Mary Black Tongue, James Martinez Sr., Mary Rose Kills In Water, Stella Buffalo aunts, Lakota Rose Madison, Cheyenne Madison, Jane Kills In Water, Bernadine Kills In Water, Serenity Jamerson, uncle, Leon Madison, Brian Paul Martinez, grandfathers, Christopher One Horn, Cleveland Kills In Water, grandmother, Lollie One Horn, cousin, Jubal Mellette III.
