Gloria Dwarf, 80, of Ft. Yates passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family in Ft. Yates, ND

Gloria was born November 1st 1938 to John and Emma (Yellow Elk) Zahn in Shields North Dakota.

Gloria married Raymond Dwarf Sr. on July 20, 1957 in Fort Yates, ND.

Gloria attended the Becker Elementary School in Shields, ND, she then went to Fort Yates, High School.

Gloria worked at the Antells Laundromat, she was a school cook, Indian Health Service, also worked for the Standing Rock Day Care as a cook.

Gloria enjoyed reading, cooking, cleaning, playing Badminton and Jacks with her kids.

Gloria was a very private person she spent most of her younger years surrounded by her husband and children.

She is survived by her children: Kenneth Dwarf Sr., Fort Yates, Curtis Dwarf, Porcupine, Stephan (Tuff) Dwarf, Fort Yates, Terrance Dwarf, Fort Yates, Karen L Silva (Rod), Fort Yates, Pamela Dwarf, Fort Yates, Daniel Dwarf, Fort Yates, 2 sisters, Emme (Beatrice) Yellow Elk (Dwarf), and Bernice Jones, Fort Yates.

Preceded in death by, her husband Raymond Dwarf Sr., sons, Raymond Jr, Donald, Ronald, and Daryl Dwarf, 4 grandchildren, mom and dad, brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.
