Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald Hollow, age 72, of Bullhead will be 2:00 PM CT Saturday, June 18, 2011 at St. Aloysious Catholic Church in Bullhead. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to service time. Burial will be in the St. Aloysious Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Gerald passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge.

Gerald Melvin Hollow was born January 24, 1939 in Fort Yates, North Dakota to Michael and Josephine (Leaf) Hollow, Jr. He attended grade school at the Bullhead Day School and high school in Fort Yates. Later in Gerald's life he went on to trade school in California, were he took up cooking classes. He married Vivian Keeps Eagle and to this union they had five children.

Gerald is survived by daughters; Jo Hollow (Lyle) of Fort Yates, Geraldine Hollow and husband Bryce, sons; Michael James Hollow III and wife (Shaunna) of Fort Yates, Nicki Hollow and wife Roselia, Gerald Iron Cloud, Mercury E. Hollow, Leon Mercliff of MT six sisters; Joyce Hollow, Sally Taken Alive, Leatrice Hendricks, Melda Dog Eagle, Beatrice Skinner, Beverly Eagle Shield, one brother; Harold W. Hollow, grandchildren, Michelle (David) Joshua, Paulette (Philo) Joshua, Kellen Red Tomahawk, Lyle (Trinity) Red Tomahawk, Kelly Red Tomahawk, Kyle Red Tomahawk, Elijah Red Tomahawk, Keenan Hollow, Nezereth Red Tomahawk, Jeremiah Red Tomahawk, Tina Maria (Colin) Walks, Monte and Tiffany Hollow, K.C. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, son Verald "Sonny" Hollow, daughter Martina Hollow, grandsons Gerald J. Hollow, Keriwan Hollow, Mercury Hollow, Jr., Robert Marshall, great-granddaughter Kyriana Agard, three brothers Kenneth Leaf, Joseph Hollow, James Hollow, and sister Teresa Taken Alive.
