Mass of Christian Burial for George Iron Shield, 61, of Ft. Yates, will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, April 20, 2024, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ft. Yates. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A visitation will be held at the AJ Agard Building at 6:00 PM, Friday, April 19, 2024, with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. George passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

George Montgomery "Monty" Iron Shield was born in Ft. Yates, North Dakota on June 4, 1963 to George Sherman Iron Shield and Juanita Little Iron Shield.

George is survived by his mother, Juanita Iron Shield, Daughters, Althea Iron Shield and Keyana Iron Shield, Sister, Margaret Mary Iron Shield, his Uncle, Kenneth G. Little.

George was preceded in death by his Father, George Sherman Iron Shield, Son, George Kevin Wiley, Brothers, Peter Paul and Robert "Bobo" Iron Shield, Sister, Faith Marie Iron Shield, Grandparents; George Little and Emma Black Tongue Little and George and Irene Hairy Chin Iron Shield.
