Mass of Christian Burial for George Frazier, 93, of Mobridge will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 7, 2020, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobridge. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. George passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Bowdle Nursing Home.

George Harris Frazier was born on August 4, 1927, in Mobridge to Edward and Sylvia (Larson) Frazier. While in high school George entered into the US Navy and served as a Seaman First Class. Following his discharge, he came back to Mobridge and finished high school, graduating in 1947.

George married Phyllis Werlinger on April 27, 1953 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobridge.

George was a business man in Mobridge for over 50 years. He owned and operated two businesses during that time. First was Mobridge Excavating. Many of the new home basements in Mobridge were dug by George. His next venture was owning Frazier's Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. He retired at the age of 85.

George was active in the Fire Department for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and coffee with his friends. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins.

George is survived by his wife Phyllis, three daughters, LeeAnn (Doug) Skeie, Nancy Frazier, and Beth (Kim) Hollenbeck, one son, Jason Frazier, five grandchildren, Dustin Hollenbeck, Paige Karow, Jared Hollenbeck, Sarah Skeie and Michael Skeie, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, two nephews Arlen and Ray James.

George is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Wayne "Jeff", two sisters, Joan Frazier and Marilyn Woods.
