George Dahl, age 75, of Timber Lake passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck.

Funeral services will be privately held.

He was born February 25, 1938 in Isabel, SD to Charles and Frances (Douglas) Dahl.
George attended elementary school and high school in Isabel before entering the Army in 1955.

In 1974 he married Shirley Hofmann, and together they had 2 children, Rex and Kim.

George worked as a Highline Electrical Foreman at Moreau Grand Electric in Timber Lake for 39 years before his retirement in 1998. A humble and private man, George also had a great sense of humor, and often enjoyed playing practical jokes on his friends and family. He was considered by many a good and trusted friend. George was also a great and loved husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

George was a member of the United Church of Christ in Isabel he had a strong faith.

George is survived by his wife Shirley, children Rex (Erin) and Kim (Robin), and grandchildren Alexander, Andreas and Tucker, two brothers, Charles and Dewey.

Memorial donations may be made in George's name to the St. Alexius Foundation in Bismarck, ND.
