Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial for Genevieve (Kelly) Breuer, age 92, of Bullhead, SD will be at 11 AM on Saturday January 25, 2014 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bullhead. Burial will be at the Little Brown Church Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. All night wake services at 7 PM on Friday at the church. Genevieve passed away at her daughter's home in Usk, WA on Sunday, January 19, 2014.
Genevieve Margaret Kelly Andre Breuer was born on July 14, 1921 at the Brown Church, SD to Calvin Kelly and Jesse Little Eagle. She attended boarding school from the age 5 at Ft. Yates, Pierre and Flandreau. She spent her summers at the Brown Church and Black Horse helping with cattle drives, branding and sleeping under the stars. After graduation she joined the WWII war effort for women in the arsenal department in Rock Island, IL. Following her time there she worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition plant. She retired after 25 years there. She married Elmer "Tink" Andre to this union three children were born Georgia, Colin and Roger Andre. She later married Kenneth Breuer and to this union two children were born,, Annette and Craig Breuer.
Genevieve enjoyed visiting family in New Jersey, Washington, Iowa and South Dakota. She also enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, quilt making, canning, knitting and crocheting. She was always pushing education to her children. Her family will miss her love and sense of humor.
Genevieve is survived by her children, Georgia Andre, Roger Andre, Craig (Denise) Breuer, and Annette Breuer; daughter-in-law, Dana Andre; very special cousin, Germaine Eagle, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, son, Colin, brothers and sisters, Norman, Catherine, Narcisse Shoestring, Aljoe Agard, and Pat Kelly, grandsons, Norman Finley and Narcisse Finley.
