Funeral service for Frank Broesamle, 92 of Mobridge will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Kesling Funeral Home. Burial will Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 2:30 PM MT, be in the Black Hills National Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #4 of Mobridge. Frank passed away, Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge.
Frank was born March 16, 1922 in Enid, Oklahoma to William and Edith (Bruhn) Broesamle. Frank served in the United States Army during WWII with the 308th Bombardment Wing. The campaigns that Frank was in include the Archipelago New Guinea, Southern Philippines Luzon receiving the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars. frank was proud of his service during WWII.
Frank married Azalia Sudlow on May 20, 1966 at Hettinger, ND., they moved to Mobridge in December of 1969.
He enjoyed working as a aviation mechanic for over 60 years. He was passionately involved in the American Legion until he recent illness.
Frank is survived by 2 sons; Delvin Sudlow of Mobridge, Vindel (Tena) of Canon City, CO, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Azalia on August 3, 2001
