Mass of Christian Burial for Francis Reinbold, age 81, of Timber Lake will be at 10 AM MT, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Timber Lake. Burial will be in the Timber Lake Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will start at 6 PM Monday with a Rosary service at 7 PM the church. Francis passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge.

Francis "Fritz" James Reinbold was born on July 18, 1929 to James and Margaret Reinbold in the family home located on a farm north of Trail City. He attended the Reinbold country school until the 8th grade.

On June 1, 1950 Francis married Anna Holzer from rural Timber Lake. Francis and Anna purchased their farm seven miles west of Timber Lake. Their family grew in number with ten children.

Francis had a successful dairy farm, expanded his farming production. In 1972, Francis and Anna sold the dairy cattle and purchased a variety store called the "Big Daddy" in Timber Lake. In 1973, he built a alfalfa and grain pellet industry called Reinbold & Sons Feeds. He sold the alfalfa plant and purchased the grain elevator in 1978 in Timber Lake.

Francis and Anna moved their family to Timber Lake. He enjoyed attending sporting events watching his children and grandchildren. Francis also enjoyed bowling, fishing, golfing and card playing with his friends.

Francis is survived by his wife, Anna and ten children: Patricia (Thomas) Fletcher of Streetsboro, OH, Frances (Colin) Milliken of Timber Lake, Eugene (Laurel) of Timber Lake, Anthony (Linda) of Timber Lake, Robert (Jeanette) of Timber Lake, Ann (Roy) Crance of Timber Lake, Nancy (Harvey) Oliver of Aberdeen, Deb (Jan) Linderman of Timber Lake, Mary (Tony) Anderson of Buckley, MI and Joe (Lori) of Aberdeen. Sisters: Dorothy (Bernard) Thomas of Spearfish, Delores (Frank) Maxon of Bismarck, ND. Brothers: John of Trail City and James (Nancy) of Wagner, SD. 37 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Francis is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother, 1 grandson, 1 great grand daughter and 1 son-in-law.

Casketbearers will be grandsons, Aaron Fletcher, Matthew Reinbold, William Reinbold, Paul Reinbold, Joshua Crance, Luke Crance, Harvey Oliver, Kevin Oliver, Adam Oliver, Brock Linderman, Lance Linderman, Ethan Linderman, Tanner Linderman, Zachary Anderson, Andrew Anderson, Timothy Reinbold, Kyle Reinbold, Alex Reinbold.

Honorary bearers will be Francis's family and friends.

Altar servers are Kyria Holzer and Olivia Linderman.

Lectors are Sarah Crance and Theresa Crance.

Ushers are Samantha Reinbold, Sadie Reinbold, and Emily Reinbold.
