Funeral services for Francine Lawrence, 77, of McLaughlin will be at 10 AM CT, Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in McLaughlin. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Francine passed away Saturday 26, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

Francine Mary (Archambault) Lawrence was born on June 21st 1942 in Bullhead, SD, to Mary (Archambault) Whiteshield.

She lived in Bullhead with her mom and sister Mary Helen. She was well cared for by her grandfather.  She attended school there, where she met Robert(Bob) T Lawrence Jr, her love, her husband.  They moved from McLaughlin to various cities where Bob was trained and employed through relocation programs, in San Francisco, and Chicago.

Francine decided she wanted to raise a family, and the moved back to SD, and settled in Pierre.  They had 3 children; Lorne, Lisa, and Robert (Robb).

She was a wonderful stay at home mom, who would drive the kids to school, as pick them up or drive them to sports activities, and always had supper ready.

She enjoyed bingo, and word puzzles, and loved the routine of seeing her friends at the different bingo venues in town.  She also enjoyed spending time with her children, reading and playing board games. As time went by, she had grandchildren, and she loved them so much and was a loving and caring grandma.

Francine is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her son Robb, and her great grandson Gideon Zuriel Carlson. Her sister Mary Helen Erhardt, and her brothers Warner Loon, Stanley and Melvin Whiteshield.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Jim) Lawrence- Northrup, grandchildren James IV (great grandsons James V and Leviticus.) Jaelisa (Matt) Carlson (great grandson Azariah) grandson, Raymond Grayhair IV, Son, Lorne (Leah) and grandchildren Caleb and Ruby.

She will be greatly missed.
