Funeral services for Fr. Neil Two Bears, 86, of Ft. Yates, ND, are 11AM, Thursday, March 3, 2016, at St. James Episcopal Church of Cannonball. Burial at St. James Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of the Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Visitation begins at 5PM, with a prayer service at 7PM, on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the church. Fr. Neil passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Vibra Hospital in Mandan, ND.

Neil was born to Joseph Two Bears and Dora (See Walker) Two Bears. He is survived by one son, Kenny Two Bears Sr., two grandsons he raised, Elisha Two Bears and Kenny Two Bears Jr.

Neil worked for farmers in the Mandan area. He worked with the Green Thumb Program in Mandan. He moved back to the reservation to take care of his 3 grandsons, Kenny, Elisah, and Preston. He was ordained into the St. James Episcopal Church. Neil was very proud of serving his country. During the Korean War he acted as chaplain whenever he was needed. He was also the chaplain for Matthew American Horse Post # 259.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.
