After graduation Everett went on to work for Job Service for more than 20 years.
In his free time Everett loved to attend Mobridge High School Basketball games. He also enjoyed following his grandchildren's high school sports events, attending many state basketball tournaments. Meeting up with his close friends to go out for coffee and gathering at the American Legion was another of his favorite passtimes.
