Funeral services for Edward Veo, 22, of Timber Lake will be at 11 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Timber Lake Community Center. Burial will be at St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. The wake will start at 5 PM with services at 7 PM at the community center Friday.  Edward passed away May 11, 2022, at Monument Health in Rapid City.

Edward Veo was born on September 12, 1998 in Pierre, SD to Jeff and Carla (Makes Him First) Veo. He entered the spirit world on May 11, 2022 at the age of 23 years. Eddy went to Timber Lake Headstart, Timber Lake Elementary School and Little Eagle Day School from grade 6 through 8 ^th grade. During elementary school he liked to play football with his brothers and older cousins. Eddy was always quiet, stuck to himself and stayed out of trouble. He liked to play his video games, watch videos on his phone and skateboarding. He also enjoyed reading. Everyone will remember Eddy for his shy, quiet and humble personality.

Eddy is survived by his parents, Jeff and Carla Veo, brothers, Jeff Veo, Jr., Carleton (Kelli) Veo, Leighton Veo, very special brother/nephew Devante Veo, nephews, CJ Veo, Tobias Veo, Markus Veo, niece, River Veo, and his grandmother, Helmina. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Verdell Veo, Uncle Bill Veo, Grandfather, Carl Makes Him First and uncle, Wilbur Makes Him First.
