Mass of Christian Burial for Edward Cadotte, age 21, of Wakpala will be 11:00 AM CST Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St. Bede's Catholic Church in Wakpala. Rider's are asked to meet at the Wakpala junction by 9:30 AM on Saturday to escort Edward to the church. Visitation will be Friday from 5PM to 9PM with a rosary at 7PM at Kesling Funeral Home. Burial will be in the St. Bede's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Edward passed away June 18, 2013 in Bismarck. All riders are welcomed.

Edward Miles Cadotte was born on November 26, 1991 to Kenneth Hendrick and Darlene Cadotte in Bismarck, North Dakota. He attended Wakpala Smee school and graduated in 2010. He was attending United Tribes Technical College, and was a good student and always very respectful. He was given various awards and was known by all as a kind young man.

Edward enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding horse, attending powwows, rodeos, and basketball games. Also enjoyed eating out, movies, playing basketball, cooking, digging turnips, playing XBox, playing pool and listening to music, especially country. He loved spending quality time with friends and family as well as doing his hobbies with friends and family. Edward loved to laugh and joke with friends and family.

Edward is survived by three brothers; Craig Cadotte, Tyrall Cadotte, and Shilo Cadotte, three sisters; Theresa D. Cadotte, Shawna Cadotte, and Sheyenne Cadotte. Also surviving are Uncles; Jeff Cadotte, Sr., Tyrone Cadotte, Sr. Bernard Cadotte Anthony Cadotte. Aunts; Judith Cadotte, Mary Cadotte, Roxanne Garcia Cadotte, Candace Cadotte. Special cousins; Ronnie Moran, Corey Cadotte, Mike Cadotte, Ridge Cadotte, Tyrus Cadotte, Tyron Cadotte, Jr, Colton Cadotte, Jeff Cadotte, Jr, Donavan Yellow, Preston Cadotte, Teddy Iron Cloud, Taylor Nunamaker, Angel Cadotte, Laura Grijalva, Vanessa Two Lance, Raine Cadotte, Oyate Cadotte, Sami Cadotte, Darlene M.
