DuWayne "Stu" Fiedler, 87, of Glenham passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

DuWayne was born on July 11, 1933 in Selby, SD, to John F. and Emma Schaffer. He was raised on the family farm in Java and later in Glenham, SD. DuWayne graduated from the Glenham High School in 1952. He married the love of his life Jacquelyn Berg on June 7, 1953. They have celebrated 68 years together.

DuWayne worked at Brown Motor Company in Mobridge and later at General Trading in Mobridge for 33 years. He retired in 1997. He also worked on the family farm. He leaves behind his wife, Jacquelyn, four children, Pam (Bob) Myhre, Twyla (Scott) Dinsmore, Curt (Lori) Fiedler, Scott Fiedler, seven grandchildren, David Myhre, Brian (Caitlin) Myhre, Jordan Fiedler, KC Fielder, Trev (Erin) Fielder, Jessah (Alex) Schone, and Amanda Dinsmore, two great grandchildren, Elsie Fiedler and Isaiah Fiedler, and one on the way. He is also survived by six siblings, Lemoyne (Lois) Fiedler, Virginia (Dean) Gunderson, Lowell (Ginger) Fiedler, Gerald Fiedler, Nadine Meyer, Karen Fiedler, several nieces and nephews, and a "special cousin", Junior (Carol) Fiedler.

DuWayne was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Geraldine Darnell, brother, Gary Fiedler, sister-in-law, Jeri Fiedler and niece, Melissa Gunderson.

Per DuWayne's wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
