Funeral services for Donovan Red Legs Jr. age 39 of Little Eagle will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Little Eagle Blue Gym, in Little Eagle. Interment will be in the Elkhorn UCC Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. All night wake will Sunday, March 10, 2019 beginning at 5:00 PM, at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Donovan passed away, Monday, March 4, 219 at the Mobridge Hospital.

"Blue Soldier in the Sky" Mahipiye Tho Akicita Donovan Leroy Red Legs Jr. was born on August 2, 1979 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His mother Lavina Long Elk and father Donovan Red Legs, SR.

Donovan was a great person and likes to draw and do Tattoos, pays attention to his kids and do activities with them. Also watching his own kind of movies.

Donovan got his education starting from kindergarten and 1 ^st grade and 2 ^nd grade in McLaughlin. Then started 3 ^rd grade in Minneapolis up until 9 ^th grade. He returned to McLaughlin and stayed at Bernard Mountain for 2 years before returning to Minneapolis. Then he returned to South Dakota then went to McLaughlin until he dropped out in his senior year.

Donovan is survived by significant other, Tonia Kills Crow, of Little Eagle, SD, one son, Dante, two daughters, Tyonna and Myanna, his mother, Lavina Long Elk, of MN, father, Donovan Red Legs, SR, of Little Eagle, Four brothers, Marshall of St. Louis Park, Chester of Isle, MN, Larry of St. Paul, Quentin of Little Eagle, SD and half-brother Patrick, three sisters, Misty and Randee of Minneapolis, Winona of Isle, MN , five half-sister's Melissa, Brenda, Kelsey and Latoya, Mandy of Little Eagle, SD, aunties, Darmalee of Little Eagle, Clarinda and Hermina of St. Paul, MN, Susie Weyaus of Isle, MN, Nina Mata of Little Eagle, Marlene Olvera. of St. Paul, MN, uncles, Bernard Mountain of McLaughlin, Adrian Kills Crow of Little Eagle, Elray Red Legs, of McLaughlin and special grandparents, Mazie and Vern Shelton of Little Eagle.

Donovan was preceded in death by grandparents, Trevian (Long Elk) and Andrew Kills Crow, Jr. Donna (Crossbear), Sherman Red Legs, half-brother, Jonathan and Chico Red Legs, 2 aunties, Marion and Andrea Kills Crow, 2 nieces, Shayla, Alyssa Smith and nephew, Dennis Long Elk, 2 cousins, Michael Mata, Elton Kills Crow.
