Funeral services for Donna Bohl, age 84, of Mobridge will be at 2 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Mobridge. Burial will be at the Mobridge City Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be start at 3 PM Friday with a prayer service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Donna passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Mobridge.

Donna (Bender) Bohl was born on October 2, 1928 to Jacob M. and Minnie (Ebel) Bender in Trail City. On Sept. 28, 1953 Donna married Robert F. Bohl. Following their marriage they helped her parents take care of the Bender ranch. Donna lived in the area her entire life. Donna worked at the American Café in Mobridge for a time. She liked playing shuffle board and embroidering different items. Donna was well known for her baked cookies that everyone loved. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to see them. In 1997 Donna entered the Golden Living Center in Mobridge where she remained until her passing.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Sharon K. Ducheneaux of Mobridge, Suann and her husband Roy Clyde of Sioux Falls, Terrie and her husband Larry Maas of Beatrice, NE, grandchildren, Shannon Ducheneaux of
Mobridge, Royce Rough Surface of Kenel, Rodd Rough Surface Sr. of Kenel, Jessica (Rough Surface) and her husband Clayton Anderberg of Mobridge, Robert A. Bohl of Sioux Falls, James Bohl of Sioux Falls, Roy Clyde Jr. of Sioux Falls, Jenny Clyde of Sioux Falls, David and wife Shiela Sandquist of Aberdeen, Rachel Cramer of Beatrice, NE, great grandchildren, Rita Mae Baker of Coolville, OH, Celeste Marie Baker of Coolville, OH, Angelek Jamerson of Mobridge, Destinee Jamerson of Mobridge, Triston Anderberg of Mobridge, McKenzie Sandquist of Aberdeen, Melissa Sandquist of Aberdeen, Nikki Sandquist of Aberdeen, Jackson Cramer of Beatrice, NE, Rodd Rough Surface Jr. of Kenel, Tyler Rough Surface, Nicole Rough Surface, Kaylee Plante, son-in-law, Henry Rough Surface of Kenel, brothers, Darrell Bender, Marlyn Bender, sisters, Elaine Lahren and Bernice Pooley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert F. Bohl in
1981, daughter, Carol (Bohl) Rough Surface, granddaughters, Lisa Ann Ducheneaux, Sara Marie Ducheneaux, grandsons, Rory Rough Surface, brothers, Benny Bender, Donald Bender, sisters, Minnie Ekrem, Viola Lewis, Beatrice Collins, Frieda Myren, and Evelyn Bastian.
