Obituary
Funeral services for Dianna Rueb, age 63, of Mobridge will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge with Pastor Dan Ofstehage officiating. Burial will be at 11 AM MT, Thursday at Black Hills National Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will start at 3 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Dianna passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck.
Dianna was born October 1, 1948 in Mobridge, South Dakota to Albert and Irene (Raile) Badure. She graduated in 1966 from Mobridge High School. On the day of her graduation she started working for Leonard Studio and June of 2012 would have been 46 years.
On September 14, 1968, she married Charles G. Rueb in Mobridge. They lived in Mobridge for the remainder of Dianna's life.
During the early 1980's, Charles and Dianna started a wood working and craft business. They would frequent craft shows about four times a year for 15 years. Dianna loved to decorate and with her visions and skills, a lot of people would ask for her help. She was also in many ways like her parents and did not like to throw things away.
As Dianna worked at Leonard Studio, she loved to work with photography. She was an avid photographer, and loved to take pictures and enter them into the art shows. With Dianna's creativity, it was a common occurrence for a first place ribbon. She liked to keep the memories fresh and has boxes upon boxes of pictures throughout the years.
Dianna is survived by her husband, Charles Rueb of Mobridge, one son, Darrin (Bonnie) Rueb of Stevens Point, WI, and one daughter, Jessica (Chris) Liebe of Stevens Point , WI, three grandsons, Michael Rueb, Logan Rueb, and Jacob Liebe, all of Stevens Point, WI. One brother, Fred (Judy) Badure of Davenport, IA. Sister & Brother In Laws, Cindy (Gary) Jenner of Ashley, ND. Marlene (Vernay) Gohl of Long Lake, SD. Carol (Gordon) Speidel of Moorcroft, WY. Donna Grabowska of Leola, SD. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Irene Badure, and an infant brother, Aldeen Badure.
Casketbearers will be Justin Jenner, Jordan Jenner, Christopher Jenner, David Gohl, Scot Gohl, Troy Grabowska, Kim Mikkonen, McKenzie Grabowska.
Honorary Bearers will be all the staff of Leonard Studio and the Trinity Hand Bell Choir.
