Graveside services for Delayna Brown age 45 of Nageezi, NM will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Delayne passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at her home.

Delyana was born to Dwane James Brown and Rosetta Red Bird on December 3, 1974. She grew up in

McIntosh, SD and raised by her grandmother Margaret Brown and father Dwane Brown. She graduated from 8 ^th grade at the McIntosh Public school and after which she left the job corps. In Utah and completed her remaining life in the Southwest. She married Kee Chico and had 5 children from this marriage and married a second time to Mr. Ross and continued to live in the Southwest area. She then met Steven Pierce of Nageezi, New Mexico and was in that relationship until her death.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Margaret Brown and father Dwane Brown. She is survived by 5 children, Katrina Chico, Ashley Chico, Kea Chico, Valroy Chico, and Jayden Chico and 3 grandchildren. She had 7 brothers and sisters; Cora and Johnna Sitting Dog; Alma and Andy Renteria, and Kodine, Jarvis and Kenny One skunk. And many aunts and uncles and cousins. She will be dearly missed and was loved very much by her family.
