Funeral service for Darin G. Tiger age 56 of Wakpala, SD will be 11:00 AM Friday, at Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Interment will be in the All Nations Veteran's Cemetery rural McLaughlin, SD under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Military honors will be provided by the Growler Looking Back Jamerson Post #239 of Little Eagle. Darin passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at his home in Wakpala.

Darin Gene Tiger, also known as DG, was born to Fremont Tiger and Bonnie Yellow Hammer on May 30, 1964 in Los Angeles, CA He was raised by his grandmother Rose Tiger in Wakpala, SD.

Darin played basketball for Wakpala Sioux and Crow Creek Chieftains where they received runner-up at State in 1983. He also graduated there from Crow Creek.

Darin entered the US Army on March 4, 1986 to February 8, 1989 with an Honorable Discharge.

Darin worked many varies jobs and finally made his home in Wakpala. Where he loved to go around and visit friends and family and go fishing. Was a character to all and will be dearly missed.

Darin is survived by his son, Darin Tiger Jr, family members, Lynn Renee Tiger, Fremont (Grump) Tiger, Denise Renee Tiger, Brett & Brian Tiger and Keith Three Legs, uncle Robert Tiger Sr., and aunt Beatrice Gabe.

He was preceded in death by Fremont Tiger Sr., Bonnie Rae Yellow Hammer, Leslie Jodeen Tiger, Terrence Verle Tiger, grandmother Rose Marie Tiger, nephew, Darias Jae Tiger, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
