Mass of Christian Burial for Darci Rae Laurenz, 33, of Eagle Butte will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte. Burial will be at the Eagle Butte Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Family and friends will meet at the 4-mile junction at 4 PM Monday to process to the church for services at 7 PM. Darci passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Darci Rae Laurenz was born in Eagle Butte, SD on July 10, 1987 to Michon Marshall and Shane Laurenz.

Darci attended Tiospaye Topa for most of her school years, graduating from there in May 2005. Throughout her life, Darci worked various jobs, sometimes even two or more at a time. With her most recent employments being a Substitute at the CEB High School and Surveillance Security at Grand River Casino. She liked to refer to herself as "The Eye in the Sky" at GRC.

Darci has been blessed with two beautiful daughters; August Cali and Kateri Jade & one very handsome son; Alexander Layne Reed. Darci considered being a mother to be her greatest accomplishment. She made sure she made lasting memories with her children, whether they were cruising the open roads with her music blasting, sitting at the river or a pool somewhere, or just being with family.

Darci is survived by her children; August Cali, Kateri Jade and Alexander Layne Reed; her mother Michon Marshall (Mark LeBeau); father Shane Laurenz; Siblings; Kelsie Lawrence (Clint), Kelan Gesinger (Toni), Kelli Laurenz (Shad), Cooper Marshall (Nate), Trevor Laurenz (Skya), Alyssa & Robbi Laurenz, Michael Marshall (Tammy), Brandee Jewett & Whitney Joe. Nieces and nephews; Kahlor, Kiercen, Carter, Krue, JoyceAnn, & Payton. Numerous Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family.

Darci was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joyce Circle Eagle-Hill, Bob Marshall, Auggie & Heddy Laurenz, Aunt Sandy Laurenz, Aunt Patty Kennedy, and special uncle Franklin Darcy Halfred (Jumbo) whom she was named after.
