Mass of Christian Burial for Dalena James age 57 of Mobridge, SD will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mobridge. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM at the church. Dalena passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Dalena was born September 15, 1957 in Mobridge, South Dakota to Clarence and Phyllis (Bonato) Roemmick. She attended school in Mobridge and graduated in 1982.

Dalena worked as a manager for Jack-in-The-Box and worked for a cleaning business as a housekeeper.

She married Douglas James on September 3, 1983. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her parents and enjoyed being with friends, family and grandchildren. She took great care and pleasure in her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music and loved the mountains in Colorado and the river in South Dakota.

Dalena is survived by her husband of 35 years Douglas James of Mobridge, three sons, Tim James of Mobridge, Leroy James of Greeley, CO., Russ James of Windsor, CO., her mother, Phyllis Bonato of Mobridge, grandchildren, Morgan James, Nevaeh James, Jordan James, Amber James, one brother; Marty Roemmick and his children; Conrad and Ray Roemmick and her step-sisters.

She was preceded in death by her father, one brother Robert Bonato, and her sister, Florence Bearsheart.
