Funeral services for Cyril Makes Him First Jr., 49, of Little Eagle will be at 1 PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the Little Eagle Blue Gym. Burial will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. An all night wake will start at 6 PM Monday with services at 7 PM at the church. Cyril passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home in Little Eagle.

Cyril Makes Him First was born on January 27, 1972, to Cyril Makes Him First Sr. and Josephine Kills Crow Indian in Eagle Butte. He attended Little Eagle Grade School and graduated from 8 ^th grade. He then went on to attend and graduate from Crow Creek High School.

He worked at the Bear Soldier Bingo Hall where he made a lot of friends. Cyril was described as a very friendly person, always smiling and had a good sense of humor. After the Bingo Hall closed he returned home to become a caretaker to his two favorite nieces, Taleeya and Terrisa Bird Horse, whom he loved very much. He raised these two and was very proud of their accomplishments. They both graduated from McLaughlin High School. Because of his health he began dialysis until the time of his passing.

Cyril is survived by brother, Steve, two step-sisters, Mary Jo Madison of Little Eagle and Georgianne Madison of Rapid City, step-father, Marlis Madison, nieces and nephews, Lakotah, Trent, Carter, TaLeeya, Carlene, Walter Jr., Jacque, Arianna Jo, Xavier, Terrisa, Deserae, grandchildren, Wambli, Waste-Win, Lakota, Joseph, Zane, Chase, Candance, Jalen, Cadence, Raeghar, Cambria, Layla, and Catilaya, uncles, Ben One Feather, Rex Makes Him First, aunts, Theresa Swan, Blanche Lawrence, and Helmina Makes Him First.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lisa, step-brother and sister, Leon and Lakota Rose Madison, uncles, Clifford Sr. and Dennis Kills Crow, aunts, Virginia Clown, grandmother, Magdeline Kills Crow, the late Captain Joseph and Mary Jane (Lawrence) Kills Crow, and Marcella Swan, cousins, Wilbur Makes Him First Sr., Eric Kills Crow, Bradley One Feather, grandchildren, Grace Kills In Water and Cheyenne L. Madison.
