Memorial services for Curtis Anderson, 62, of Mobridge will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, December 18, 2023, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Curtis passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at his home.

Curtis Dean Anderson was born on November 17, 1961, in Mobridge to Arthur and Gloria (Sippert) Anderson. He grew up on a farm south of Akaska. He attended school in Gettysburg where he played football. He graduated in the class of 1980. After high school he attended Northern State University in Aberdeen before returning to the farm to help his dad.

Curtis moved to Mobridge in the late 90's. While in Mobridge he worked for the Grand River Casino and for the last 15 years Jensen's Rock and Sand. Curtis enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and hunting.

Curtis is survived by his daughter, Latasha Anderson (Harley Morrison) of Mobridge, grandchildren, Tripp and Teagen Morrison, brother, James, sisters, Lori Anderson, Janice Anderson, and Sharon Schmidt, aunts, Eileen Hoover and Shirley Baer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur in 1994 and Gloria in 2000, sister, Bonnie Anderson, niece, Coral Anderson, and nephew, Kyle Anderson.
