Funeral services for Courtney Lee Livingston Jr., age 48, of Mound City will be at 11 AM, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Mound City. Burial will be in the Mound City Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 - 8 PM at the church. Courtney passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 from injuries sustained in a farm accident at their home in Mound City.

Courtney Lee Livingston was born in Watertown, SD, on November 24, 1962. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Watertown. He attended St. Martin's Lutheran School and Watertown High School.
Lee was united in marriage to Mandy Bischoff on May 13, 1995 in Tempe, AZ. After living in Arizona for twelve years, he moved back to Watertown and worked at Benchmark Foam for twelve years. In Oct. 2008 he and Mandy moved to Mound City where he was residing at the time of his death. In February 2009 he began working at P.I.C./ Genus.
Lee was a man of adventure and an avid sportsman. He loved working with his hands and there was not much that he could not make or fix. The past three years in Mound City filled him with joy as he and Mandy made a special place for themselves in the country. He looked forward to every Thanksgiving when he could spend time hunting with his dad and siblings. He enjoyed his quiet time outdoors and said this was his special time for him and the Lord. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do to help.others. He was a very gentle soul who was a kind and giving man that sacrificed much to provide for his wife and daughters. Even in death he was able to give by donating his organs for the benefit of others.

Lee is survived by his wife, Mandy of Mound City; two daughters, Cortney (Jim) Johnson of Fort Gordon, GA, and Elizabeth "Libbi" Bischoff of Yankton, SD; his parents, Courtney and Karen Livingston of Watertown; grandmother, Lillian Livingston of San Diego, CA; siblings, Crystal (Greg) Cordell of Watertown, Sara Livingston of Watertown, Nathan Livingston of Iron Ridge, WI, James (Angie) Livingston of Sturgeon Bay, WI, Lanea (Mark) Sudweeks of Fort Campbell, KY, grandsons, Landen and Layton Bischoff; honorary sister/ Bridget (Jason) Redemske Watertown, SD and his two furry babies, Annie Mae and Patriot Abraham.

Lee is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie R. and Mary Livingston and Carl and Lula Degner.

Casketbearers will be Nathan Livingston, James Livingston, Craig Schaffer, Jaime Morles, Kevin Moser and Greg Cordell.

Honorary bearers will be Lee's grandsons, Landen and Layton Bischoff, his father, Courtney Lee Livingston, Jim Johnson (son in law) and Mark Schaffer.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
