Mass of Christian Burial for Cordell Yellow Fat Jr., age 34, of Kenel will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Kenel. Burial at Catholic cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2015 from 5PM to 10 PM with a rosary service at 7PM at the church. CJ passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

CJ was born April 25, 1981 in Bismarck, ND to Cordell and Judi (Martin) Yellow Fat.
CJ attended McLaughlin Public School until later transferring to the Standing Rock Grant School where he graduated High School with the Class of 1999.
Ceige than went on to attend Burdick Job Corps in Minot, ND where he completed Level 1 Carpentry in May 2000.
CJ soon met Jamie Little Eagle and from this relationship was born; Jendaya & Precious. Ceige loved his daughters very much and was very proud of them.
CJ is survived by his parents, daughters Jendaya and Precious, neices; Reyonna Elsia & Raegin Jo along with surviving nephews; Reymin, Dajuan, Landen, & Quinn will all hold a Special place in their hearts for "Uncle Ceige". He thought the world of them all, as they did he. Uncle Ceige will be missed a lot.
Also surviving, a very special cousin; Starla (Beans) Yellow Fat.

CJ was preceded in death by his brother; Joe Paul, his paternal grandparents, Raymond & Dorothy (Demery) Yellow Fat, his maternal grandparents; Hank & Elsie (Left Hand) Martin. also preceding in death with C.J. a special Auntie; Darlene (Yellow Fat) Masette
