Clyde Naasz, 66, of Mobridge passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at his home in Mobridge. Arrangements are pending with Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.

Clyde Calvin Naasz, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 11, 2021. He was born in Mobridge, South Dakota on January 5, 1955, to Calvin and Darlene Naasz. He was a 1973 graduate of McLaughlin School District.

Clyde dedicated himself to a life of education. He received two degrees from Northern State University; Secondary Business Education and Physical Education and Health. He later went on to earn a Master of Science in Secondary Administration and received his accreditation as an Education Specialist. Throughout Clyde's career, he specialized in grant writing, worked as an administrator, taught in the classroom, and spent many years as boys' basketball coach and football. Clyde had dedicated nearly 45 years of his life to education, and was a high school math teacher in Ft. Yates, ND, at the time of his passing.

Clyde is survived by his mother, Darlene Naasz (Mobridge); his brother, Dan Naasz, (Mobridge), sister-in-law Alicia Naasz, (Mobridge); and Kristie (Peter) Reichert, Mobridge, Tina (Matt) Aberle, Aberdeen, Danielle (Darin) Thorstenson, Selby, Bridgette Naasz, Aberdeen, Nicole (Jason) Dallman, Mobridge, Todd Naasz, Mobridge, Gina (Dan) Perman, Glenham.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Calvin Naasz and his brother, Boyd Naasz.

Funeral arrangements for Clyde will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge on Friday, October 15, at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Selby Memorial Gardens.
