Funeral services for Cleo E. Schlepp age 62 of Mobridge will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church in Wakpala. Interment will be in the St. Elizabeth Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, Visitation will be Monday, September 16, 2019 starting at 5:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Kesling Funeral Home. Cleo passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.
Elizabeth Cleo Summers was born on March 16, 1957 to Raymond and Wilma (Little Bear) Summers on Old Kenel Flats. Where she grew-up. When hard work was a daily job, back when the trees were all over the valley before the Oahe Dam destroyed 189 families, some families never fully recovered from the Man Made Disaster. She loved to ride lala John Little Bears horse's lady and Big Colt. She also could harness and hitch a team and load the wagon with the kids to go swimming down by old St. Thomas. She was fun to be around and helped raised a lot of cousins out in the country, she drove for gramma Marcella Shooting Bear. She helped her in her old age. She was considered loving person, but watched out if you messed with her relatives she could fight.
She drove truck driving with Bill. Raised out in the country growing up hauling water, etc.

She attended doctor school as a kid. Then went to McLaughlin school rode the bus from the country. She graduated from McLaughlin High School
Cleo is survived by her daughters, Jessie Summers and Ashley Summers, sons, William Summers and Clayton Summers, grandchildren, Kaylee, Consuelos, Saydee, Angel, Frowin, Elisha, Aileen, Cheaman, Twyla Sweeny, John Sweeny, Narcusse Round Tree, cousin, Elliotte Little Bear, many neices nephews, and cousins.
Cleo was preceded in death by her daughter Marcella Summers, parents, Raymond Summers, Wilma Little Bear, granddaughter Bonnie Summers, brother Clayton Summers, sister, Ruthie Summers.
