Graveside services for Clemmy Swimmer, 38, of Wakpala will be at 10 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Cemetery in Wakpala. Family and Friends will leave at 9 AM from Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge to the cemetery. Visitation will start at 5 PM Friday with a prayer service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Clemmy passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Clemmy (Clementine) Swimmer was born on June 10, 1982, in Ft. Yates, ND, to Tim and Marlis (Good House) Swimmer of Wakpala. She attended school in Isabel, Ft. Thompson, Wakpala and McLaughlin. While living in McLaughlin, Clemmy met Michael Iron and from this union four children were born, Ian, I'anee, James and I'than Iron. Clemmy did many positive accomplishments in her life. She attended the Global University in Sioux Falls and received her GED from Sitting Bull College. She also worked at Prairie Knights Casino and Grand River Casino.

Clemmy's life was short lived, but she was fun loving, caring, understanding, and very intelligent. She was very knowledgeable on computer skills.

Clemmy is survived by her children, Ian, I'anee, James, and I'than Iron of McLaughlin, parents, Tim and Marlis Swimmer of Wakpala, sisters, Imogene Swimmer of Mobridge, Melora (Chops) Gabe of Wakpala, Kyn Swimmer of Eagle Butte, brothers, Dusty Swimmer of Wakpala, Jacob Swimmer of Sisseton, and Randy Swimmer of Eagle Butte, aunty, Sharon "Mama" Good House.

Clemmy had many cousins, nephews, nieces, who she loved and respected. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and respected her.

She is preceded in death by death by her grandparents, Moses and Clementine Good House, and Timothy and Imogene Swimmer, infant son, Michael Oscar Iron, aunt, Theo Iron Cloud and very special friend, Cody Jewett.
