Funeral services for Christopher Micheal Foote, 50, Of Thornton, CO will be at 10 AM, CT, Monday October 17, 2022, at the Bullhead District Building. Burial will be at the St. John's Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. All night wake services will start at 5 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM Sunday. Christopher passed away Monday October 3, 2022 in Denver, CO.

Christopher Micheal Shaving Bear Foote was born on December 25 ^th , 1971, to Delphine Foote and Fenton Shaving Bear in McLaughlin, South Dakota. He grew up with siblings: Tina Shaving Bear, Donald Foote, James One Feather, Noah Shaving Bear, Jamie One Feather, and Alicia One Feather.

He graduated from Snake River High School in Blackfoot, ID in 1991. He later attended college at Haskell University and at Idaho State University.

In 1997, he was married to Cheri Ann Outcelt and together they had three children: Justin Chaska Foote (24), Courage Christian Foote (19), and Dakota Shaving Bear Foote (15). They later divorced in 2011.

Before his marriage he had two children from two previous relationships: Jordan Honeycutt (ID), and Victoria Schoenborn (MN).

Christopher worked as a carpenter and held jobs in construction.

He has lived in North/South Dakota, Minneapolis, MN, Colorado, and Idaho.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing (with his dog Spot), traveling, playing basketball, playing, and watching football, and learning anything that involved Big Foot. His biggest pride was being a father and he loved all his children unconditionally.

Christopher was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when he was a young boy and remained a member into his adulthood.

He was an exceptional football player and was Quarterback for Snake River High School for most of his high school years. He was known by many as being an outstanding athlete. As an adult, he participated in the Semi Professional Football League out of Idaho Falls (the Mustangs).

Chris is survived by his children – Justin, Courage, Dakota, Jordan, and Victoria. His three grandchildren. His girlfriend – Tina Chavez. Siblings – Tina, Donald, Noah, Jamie, and Alicia. Along with multiple nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
